Entomed is doing exactly what it says it is, ie, going on the internet,
downloading and installing some componentes it needs to run such as net
framework 3.5. It'll be fine when it's installed them and your computer
should go back up to speed.

speaking of entombed, I tried installing the setup file so that I could
play it and it is locking up on my machine. It starts the set up and then
says something like installing components this may take a couple of
minutes and then it slows my computer to a crawl and stops responding. I
have to go into task manager to end task.
Does anyone have any suggestions so that I can try the game?

Any temperary directory will do. If you don't know the path to one just
enter something like
c:\temp
into the edit box and you will b fine. Curse Microsoft for there setup
installer as this is the number one complaint with installing DirectX.
