I'm actually not a player at present, as I don't have the time to dedicate to serious RP, but for what it's worth ...
A lot of your interaction is around talking to other players and getting experience for it. The story is basically a conflict between mages and non-magic users. If a mage is caught, he or she is burned at the stake. The problem, though, is that nobody knows who the mages are, so a lot of the plot centers around that. There isn't much fighting unless you do it against animals. In fact, if you kill a human, your character is covered in blood for a time. If someone catches you that way, they will do their best to bring you in. You get your income the way you get experience. You can use free experience to purchase a wealth level, and as you gain rpxp, you also gain money. It's worth a look. If you can apply to be a mage, you'll find some really sweet mechanics there. What all is there to do on there? How's the playerbase? Are the plots interesting? Or is it mostly your generic invasion or army stuff. It sounds worth checking out, and I'll go look up the tmc info, but since you're a player I figure I'd ask you for more info since mudconnector's advertising is usually underdone or numbers-based. -------------------------------------------------- From: "Ryan Strunk" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, April 02, 2009 7:16 AM To: "'Gamers Discussion list'" <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [Audyssey] moos/muds without stats > You might take a look at The Inquisition.
