Ahh. That won't exactly work out much better, though, as what you're
proposing will stall out your reading of battle text every time the prompt
comes up, and you'll still lag behind because of the sheer amount of
spoken
text.
What I would suggest is a trigger to set up your prompt such that it is
gagged when it appears, along with keys to speak your hitpoints, magic
points, and stamina. Then I might put together a few if checks to sound an
alarm or text if your stats fall below a certain threshold. If this sounds
like something that might be useful, let me know, and I'll be happy to
help
you craft that.

No, I'm just wanting sapi to speek my prompt full stop!
apparently less than and greater than brackits are used as a silencing
command for sapi, which means it won't read anything written in them.
Unfortunately, this includes said prompt, which results in my character
getting slaughtered everytime I go into combat because I can't be sure how
much damage I'm taking.
I've set a wimpy, ---- but in materia magica, wimpy can only b set so
high,
and that's not usually high enough to get me out of combat in time.

You're wanting sapi to speak your prompt over the top of the rest of your
text? What exactly are you aiming for?

Hi.
I stil! can't get Vip mud to read the prompt line in materia magica, ----
or
medeivia for that matter.
Said line is <97hp 150sp 174st>
David greenwood even suggested a scripting command, ---- #trig
{[<]hp*[>]}
{#say %1 voiceonly}
I tried this, ---- nothing! I modified the triger to < * > ----- nothing.
I tried < * > * ---- nothing.
I tried < * hp * mp * sp * st > ----- nothing!
In fact none of the triggers i've tried have had any effect on the
blasted
program at all thanks to this conflict betwene mud output text and sapi
commands.
I'm incredibly close to asking David greenwood for my money back, ----
sinse
I bought vip mud on the pretext that it had ms sapi support, ----- which
(if
it will not read standard status line0, it plainly does not.
I'd muuuuuuch! rather get this fixed, but I'm at absolute whits end!
I've tried multiple voices, ----- and even multiple computers thanks to
my
laptop, ---- and stil nothing! works!
As you might tell, I'm slightly irritated about this!
Any advice, ---- particularly anything I haven't tried would be great.
Beware the grue!
Dark.
