I'm afraid you'll either need to buy a reactor (the hammer reactors also increase your damage a bit), or buy an engine upgrade with real cash from the Ce store, ---- which provides both more fuel and an energy bonus.
this is one reason I've personally not yet bought any reactors myself.Alternatively, you could just swap out whatever you have in your expander slot (a cargo expander or cabin), for your gun as needed, sinse expanders use a lot of energy but are no use in combat.
If you want to go down that route, and have the ip to spare on kinetic, I'd be happy to let the gun go for 10 K.
On the other hand, if you haven't already got a drone, I wouldn't mind deferring payment on the gun while you buy one, ---- once your doing combat missions successfully you should be making enough from loot to pay me 15 K for the gun in no time.
Drop me a pm in the game if your interested, ---- though sinse I'm about to go to bed, I might not get back to you until tomorrow.

HMMM HMMM OK i MAY LOOK INTO THESE, i AM USING AL MY EXTRA SLOTS FOR ARMOUR, i AM A LEVEL 16 RIGHT NOW. i'LL DEFINATELY LOOK INTO WEAPONS, MY ISSUE IS THAT i HAVE A GATLING WHICH IS USING ABOUT 254 ENERGY UNITS, i HAVE 54 OR SO LEFT ON THE ENERGY FRONT, i NEED SOMETHING THAT CAN DO 300 + UNITS, i JUST DON'T SEEM TO BE ABLE TO HIT TO MUCH. i HAVE AROUND 12 GRAND, i PROBABLY ONLY NEED ONE GOOD GUN SINCE ONE IS ALL i CAN USE AT ONCE.At 12:49 p.m. 4/11/2009, you wrote:Hi Shaun.if it's just a case of money or weaponry I have some kinetic weapons going spare which might help you, ---- though depending upon what level you are they may not.also, I'd strongly advise a passenger cabin, sinse as I've said, they really allow you to make money hawling, ----- extractors are also a really good investment as well.personally, I alternate. I do a big trading run, then go back to combat and npc missions for awhile, then do another big run, ---- that way the game doesn't become stale and I don't get stuck doing the same thing.Beware the grue! Actually I have come to a sticking point in the game. That being I am real bored with trading but I can't combat without getting extra stuff. right now I am having a break, I am in 2 minds about having my account expire. If I then restart or if I restart, but who knows. I've now got to the point where I've got the ability to carry threepassengers of each class, and 110 units of cargo which can make for a very major run, but I've not had too much difficulty so long as I check witht heplotter and make certain I don't forget to drop off a passenger or some cargo along the way. hth. Lately I've been picking up passengers and obviously I can figure out how to find my destination using the plotter. Problem is I like to pick up more than one passenger at a time and figuring out where to go first can be difficult. What I've been doing is checking all locations with the plotter and going tothe closest destination from my point of origin. This is fine but there'sno way of knowing how far my next destination will be from the first destination. I don't know if I'm making sense it's 2:55 a.m, hopefullypeople will see what I mean. Basically, I'm wondering if there is a waytomap out different locations. The only solution I've thought of is to keep notes. Just wondering if anyone out there has figured out a better way to do this or if there's something I'm missing. Still very new to this gameso I have a lot to learn. I'm only on level 14. Just out of curiosity, has anyone joined the blind Ce list? I've joined but I never see any posts on there.
