Hm, but if you were to sell a computer then you would wipe the hard drive clean anyways, so all the registration info would be gone as well anyway? Personally I have never had a game that had an unregistration feature. Interesting game, by the way, I have been following this discussion for a while and downloaded the demo yesterday. Will give it a try tomorrow.
A personal note here, if someones screenreader starts reading stuff I write in both english and german, this has to do with an outlook setting of my language pack, which I have not yet figured out how to correct. Only happens if jaws is set to autodetect languages, from what people tell me. Sorry for the off topic remark, but just did want to point this out in case someone gets this language jumble on their machines from me lol -----Original Message----- From: gamers-boun...@audyssey.org [mailto:gamers-boun...@audyssey.org] On Behalf Of Thomas Ward Sent: Wednesday, November 25, 2009 9:39 PM To: Gamers Discussion list Subject: Re: [Audyssey] Q9 version 1.1 released! Hi, Hmmm..The inquiring mind wants to know. I've often asked myself why some games have a unregister option. I would assume if someone would pay for a game they would naturally want to register and play it. About the only time I could see where a feature like this would be handy is if you are selling a computer and you don't want all of your programs to be registered. You may want the buyer to purchase registration codes of their own for your software. Yohandy wrote: > heh the ability to unregister the game? now why would someone want to > do that?
