Warcraft, was a series of stratogy games where you commanded peasants,
knights, dragons etc and tried to defeate the enemy and take on various
missions.
sound rts is very similar, and in fact is getting more and more features
with newer versions of the game for instance they've recently added scout
and archer towers to hold your troops.
World of warcraft is a massively multiplayer online graphical action/rpg
game based upon the warcraft world.
It has many quests, pvp, and cooperative raides pluss lots of exploring and
crafting and the like, and nothing yet has been done in audio, ---- though
in discussions on the entombed list Jason has hinted that he may considder
such a project at some point.
There are however many accessible online rpgs played with text in brousers
which offer quests, crafting, pvp etc, not to mention muds which are also
real time. While neither of these is quite like world of warcraft, they do
share some gameplay characteristics at the least.
Hope this clears things up somewhat.
Beware the Grue!
Dark.

the future?
What's the difference between sound rts and wow? I'd love to see online
playabilityeither with blind or sighted either one.
Just ready for something different.
