In the original golf game, the amount of power that you could type in was from
1 to 99 percent of power. But the thing is, there is a bit of randomization
built into the game. You know like You are 42 yards from the green and 18
yards off line. The off line is most of the randomization, but even the total
yards that the shot travels varies because of the off line thing. And of
course you had to learn how far that percent of power would drive your shot
with each club. But as you surmised, even with that, it still needs the bit of
randomization, or the game would be too easy.
