I've noticed that seems to happen with Gold Wave anytime you mess with a
sound in that wa though.

there". :) What does my voice sound like distorted? The problem I'm
finding with running on battary is if jaws is shut down then I've no
idea how long I have before I get the critical warning and it runs
down, is there a way to set a sound to play or something? I'm using xp.

Yes the part I pasted was way down at the bottom of the message
rather than at the top.
I did run your review through Gold Wave and it almost completely
reduced the buzz.
But it also distorted your voice.
Maybe you could record on battery for an hour until it runs down
instead of on aC.

reason
we've worked out that it's interfearence from when my laptop is
plugged in
to the mains, when the plug is out there's no buzzing, but i only
get about
an hour worth out of my battary at most, so I can't really podcast on
battary alone. Thanks for the voice feedback, i hate my accent.
