Ah fair enough dennis, I was probably getting alter confused with various
other muds like materiamagica which do! have custom flash clients.
However, given what oriol has done with the soundpack, not just in terms of
sounds, but custom keys, triggers etc, it's pretty safe to say that Alter
has! an accessible custom client anyway, and with a mud, the game text is
second to the game in access terms, since if it includes information only
available via ascii maps, indications by text colour and the like, all the
custom clients in the world won't help.

Actually, the custom AA clients are written in C++, and don't have any
dependency on flash. Part of the reason they aren't accessible is
because I had to write my own graphical renderer for the main text
window, and I could never figure out how to hook it up to the
accessibility APIs. At this point though, Mush Z probably does a
better job than I would have anyway.

Interesting enough HHGG is one of the few IF games I actually

I agree on the copywrite thing, but that's probably just a consequence
