well paul, a lot was cut out.
The story was rather long and rambly and while I'd have liked it to go on for ever there were a lot of maps that were not so much crap but were things that I had issues finnishing. in the end though I think the story as allan had it was a bit jumpy after the resistance map, trying to jump to new bits sounded good but the arc was far to long at least for a beginner map.
I think allan burned himself on that.
I suggested he put the story to how he had it a few versions ago where it was basically almost finnished.
I do look foreward to future arcs though.
I do miss the juggernaughts but to be frank it would have never worked unless the borg were made so unbeatable that you would always loose in the resistance map. sadly not all maps after resistance were completed or at least in the versions I had on my drive. the moment and time and icaris maps were good but broke just about all maps or at least the last map before total war, maybe they could have gone after resistance but then its a bit odd.
not sure where they would have fitted.
To be honest I'd have killed the liron map and the training maps as I was never able to complete them but thats just me. I guess I should try to write some better maps but to be honest I have several offline issues I need to sort out health wise and I have a couple other things not to mention its update week or whatever this week maybe next to who knows. If and when I manage to get a few days or a week or two where I have nothing at all to do bar sleep I may actually decide to do something.
Trouble is when I hit one of those weeks I have no energy to do anything.

Hi Paul,
I am glad you like the game. I just build maps here and there myself but
whether playing or creating a map it is a blast.

Unfortunately, you have to download the whole game over again. With the maps
included it can be a bit big.
Perhaps I could pull my map packs out of the one I downloaded and I can post
the link to the new release from send space, it would be a smaller download
I imagine. Let me know if you want me to do that.

The email list Ian set up is also a good place to start for map creation.
Everyone is pretty helpful, and Ian does a lot of developing in between
releases that gets playtested and the like.
