[RedHat EL 4]

I'm upgrading from 3.0.1 to 3.0.7, and don't want to lose historical
data, so my first step is setting up gmetad 3.0.7 on a new box to run
in parallel with the existing 3.0.1. However, I'm having a problem.

I start like this:
 - install ganglia-gmetad-3.0.7 on the new box
 - it already has gmond 3.0.1 running
 - I edit /etc/gmetad.conf to add our custom RRA definitions
 - I edit /etc/gmetad.conf to change the cluster name in the
data_source line, to match our existing cluster name
(which is already set in /etc/gmond.conf as well)
 - I rsync the ganglia/rrds directory from the old gmetad server
and chown -R nobody the whole tree
 - service gmetad start

Ganglia web shows graphs of historical data until the present time,
for our cluster, but no further: past the point where I moved the RRD
files over, graphs all show blank.

gmetad is writing new data to RRD files in ganglia/rrds/unspecified
rather than to the existing RRD files in ganglia/rrds/OurCluster

Why is gmetad doing that? How can I get it to update the old RRDs
that I rsync'ed over from the 3.0.1 server, and to use our cluster
name as set in the data_source line?
