It will assume that they are all in the cluster named after the first host
that is added to the cluster XML because they are all part of the same cluster
view by using the same multicast address.

Sadly as you showed, that behaviour could be erratic, if the multiple places
where the cluster membership is defined don't match 

1) which multicast address or unicast collector to use
2) which cluster is defined in gmetad.conf for the collector
