Would it be possible to use info from .ASD files to make this more
automatic? The Directory could poll a given url every so often for this
.asd file, and update its info accordingly. Changed .asd's could be
listed in Recent Changes.

I'm looking at the following list:

:Project-Name
:Description
:eMail
:Web-site
:Mailing-list
:Version
:Maturity
:OS-compatibility
:asdf-installable
:Official-Download
:Mirrored-Download
:Source-code-repository
:Compatible-Implementations
:Required-Libraries
:Authors-and-Maintainers
:Tags
:Comments

and I'm impressed that Paolo has the stamina to do hundreds of these
things, but lesser mortals find that huge.

Presumably, many of these fields could be added to an ASDF format? Or is
ASDF too rigid?
