Hi Pete,Greg, and Colleagues,
In opening up this discussion on grid connections from gasified power
generation, you are not off topic, but it highlights in a general sense, how
people feel their capability and enthusiasm can translate into using waste
wood to solve power supply/cost problems.
All that you have written is valid "stuff", and just the sort of knowledge
you need to do things for yourself in an off grid situation. I cannot even
discuss the merits of your experience, as I risk life and limb just wiring a
plug! However, for most of the discussion on this forum continues to
demonstrate, most are way ahead in ideals, rather than what has to be,
standard commercial capability. We have to prove it, not talk about it,
then "try" to meet the specifications that are set by other people, not our
selves.
Gasifiers are not magical, but certainly infernal.
I am now out of this discussion.
