Wood gasification can happen in as little as 350 c BUT, happens much
better around the 800c mark.

In my totally uneducated view, the methane,, acetone, etc. are NOT even
in the wood yet as you heat it slowly.   You have to get up to the
temperatures where the "destructive distillation" occurs to break down
existing chemicals into those other components that you list.  You need
temps high enough to disassemble and maybe recombine things like the
cellulose and the famous "pyrolignous acids".  I'm thinking well over
100°C to even start most of those processes.
