According to Gatorcountry the charges were supposed to be dropped in court yesterday. I don't know if that's what happened because I haven't been near a computer yet today to find out. Isn't a date-rape that you voluntarily went on a date with someone and then were raped by the person you were on a date with? So, after that happened, she went out on another date with the same guy who had raped her on the first date? Why would any woman do that? And then, after being raped again on the second date, she went out yet a third time with a guy who had raped her twice before? That would be stupid beyond belief. The hearing is a civil matter on whether or not to continue a restraining order she had taken out on him. I'd say typical spin from a poodle paper, but our local rag has been almost as sensational, and just as misleading with their headlines. I'm not sure where I read this, but I recall that the restraining order was asked for months after their relationship had ended and in response to Johnson dating another woman. While that does not invalidate the allegations, it sure makes me skeptical. I'm also a little puzzled as to the likelihood of a woman being susceptible to date rape on three separate occasions.
