Zeb,
My 14 point + swing was based upon momentum expectations. I have the + in there for two reasons. First, had we scored then, I felt that it would have demoralized their defense and increased our opportunity to score more. Secondly, our defense would have been in a better position to "smell blood" after a score. Tennessee may also have tried to push the envelope and we might have had some interceptions as they played catch-up. I do agree that it is a lot easier to have this discussion after a win! The last time I remember Tebow losing two turnovers was against Ole Miss. I think that it is a good measure of how far UT is behind the rest of the SEC that we can give it two extra possessions and it was still never a threat. Give Alabama, Ole Miss, LSU or even Arky those two turnovers, and we may see a different result. -Zeb --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ GATORS: ONE VOICE ON SATURDAY - NO VOICE ON SUNDAY! 1996 National Football Champions | 2006 National Basketball Champions 2006 National Football Champions | 2007 National Basketball Champions 2008 National Football Champions | Three Heisman Trophy winners: Steve Spurrier (1966), Danny Wuerffel (1996), Tim Tebow (2007) - Visit our website at www.gatornet.us -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
