Since they instituted a November cupcake game, we usually have sold or given
away our tickets to that game, which we did again this year. It has always
irked me that the athletic department used the opportunity provided by a
12th game as a flat-out grab for money instead of using it as an opportunity
to schedule a home-and-home with a legitimate team. I suppose we should be
grateful this year there was a cupcake on the schedule so the Gators could
post a win. If the FSU game were at home this year, I'd be there for sure.

I dislike the noon games as well. I am not sure that the Gators have a
choice regarding the scheduling when the game will be on TV. However, I
don't know why yesterday's game couldn't have been at 3:30 or 4, which would
have been more comfortable for the fans. Maybe they assumed it would be cold
since it's November. I also dislike driving to Gainesville three weekends in
a row, which happens in September in odd-numbered years.

No way are we giving up our season tickets. However, we will have four seats
available next year for Alabama Birmingham (Sept. 10) and Furman (Nov. 19),
so let me know if you are interested. I'll be waiting for the flood of
emails :)
