Plus it was the third time this season with back-to-back games, which really
takes a toll on us working folks - we decided before the season even started to
skip that game - it gives us an oppotunity to give two pairs of tickets to
family members so they took neices and nephews that don't usually get to see
the Gators play in person to the game. I listened to the game on the radio
while I was out getting some much neglected work done and I'm enjoying the
replay this morning!

Since they instituted a November cupcake game, we usually have sold or given
away our tickets to that game, which we did again this year. It has always
irked me that the athletic department used the opportunity provided by a 12th
game as a flat-out grab for money instead of using it as an opportunity to
schedule a home-and-home with a legitimate team. I suppose we should be
grateful this year there was a cupcake on the schedule so the Gators could post
a win. If the FSU game were at home this year, I'd be there for sure.

I dislike the noon games as well. I am not sure that the Gators have a choice
regarding the scheduling when the game will be on TV. However, I don't know why
yesterday's game couldn't have been at 3:30 or 4, which would have been more
comfortable for the fans. Maybe they assumed it would be cold since it's
November. I also dislike driving to Gainesville three weekends in a row, which
happens in September in odd-numbered years.

No way are we giving up our season tickets. However, we will have four seats
available next year for Alabama Birmingham (Sept. 10) and Furman (Nov. 19), so
let me know if you are interested. I'll be waiting for the flood of emails :)

I have season tickets and I gave mine away today for a number of reasons.
This is the 3rd game at noon or around noon and I am tired of that. I am
beginning to feel like the Athletic Dept is taking advantage of the fans and
it seems that it is always about money and not about the fans that actually
    attend the games.
I have been a season ticket holder since the 1970s and I support the team
and do not boo or say many discouraging words during the game; however, I do
voice my opinion when they are not playing up to their potential, which for
this year, it has been many games.
I am very discouraged about many aspects this year, like having to buy a
special radio that syncs the play by play to what is actually happening,
running out of "free" $1 water during the first two games at noon, having
the noon games and many other negative things. I feel like I am being
gouged and taken advantage of. IMNSHO, they should not be doing this in the
    face of this tough economy.
It makes me want to take my precious, discretionary and dwindling
entertainment income and spend it where it is more appreciated. If this
makes me a "fair weather fan", then so be it.
