I've never heard about the UK basketball case (possibly because I wasn't alive yet), but it brings to mind something I have been thinking for awhile. People will not stop this behavior as long as it remains behind at the school where it occurred. Kiffin should be able to be penalized for what he did at UTK, UM's former AD should be held accountable even at his new school. If Hill did something wrong, he should be held accountable. Players should be responsible for their choices, even if they turn pro. As long as you can run away by finding a new job, you have no real incentive to really follow the rules. Maybe the NFL should follow the lead of the 1950s NBA. (Fat chance, but an interesting idea.)
