Denver’s Tim Tebow was the quarterback for the Gators that year. None of the Hurricanes seemed particularly concerned with the planned event, which has infuriated many Canes fans — especially because UM plays its home games at Sun Life Stadium. “There’s really nothing I can say about that,” cornerback Lee Chambers said. “We’re a brotherhood here. We’re family. All we’re concerned about is the U.” Said cornerback Mike Williams: “We’re just worried about what’s going on here at the U.” “Same thing those guys said,” LaRon Byrd said. “No comment.” And this from left tackle Malcolm Bunche: “I’m just focused on the game ahead.
