Nah, that's not the same. I wouldn't have said no to that or to Meyer two years ago, but once you've hired a new coach and started a new season it's done and should stay that way. If Donovan had actually left, and three years later we were looking for a replacement for his replacement, I would not support rehiring him. Life is about moving forward, not looking backward.
