Be a little careful with spamcop, they'll block all the spam, along with a 
*really* good chunk of legitimate users.  We use a custom-built weighted 
system, requiring the spam to fail against several combinations of rules 
before it's actually bit-bucketed. We test against some 10,000 
daily-evolving rules and about 20 external databases and RBLs. (All this 
while two independent engines are scanning it for viruses and performing 
virus heuristic tests).

This is a tad overkill for most uses, as it requires some very careful 
performance tuning and quite a bit of expense, however we actually market 
the filtering service to businesses and ISPs.  Going "overkill" is the only 
way I feel safe filtering spam, but your results may vary.  Just beware of 
spamcop. ;)
