I've just tried firefox again (on NTFS), with an unsuccessful result.[1]
However, I think I'm not up to date with some changes you made - for
instance you mentioned a new symlink and explicit run of install-env.

I'll try gnash later. In any case, here's the end of my firefox attempt
output.

  checking dependency style of /home/riscos/cross/bin/arm-unknown-riscos-gcc...
(cached) gcc3
  checking for cpp... /usr/bin/cpp
checking if /usr/bin/cpp requires -undef... configure: error: /usr/bin/cpp
defines unix with or without -undef. I don't know what to do.
  Autobuilder: Running make command: /home/riscos/env/ro-make
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
  Package libx11-6: ***Failure***
  Dependency "libx11-6" failed for libxt6
  Dependency "libxt6" failed for firefox2
  Build for package "firefox2" failed

Cheers,
Adam

[1] I did solve one odd thing - the zip binary wasn't being found for
some reason and causing builds to fail. I automade "native-zip" which
seems to have solved that problem at least.
