This would be only enabled on the "sanitize" configuration of Travis CI, and this would of course only detect such occurence in the code paths exercised by the test suite. My idea is also to try to run the OSS Fuzz GDAL tests with this enabled to discover more corner cases where the overflows actually turn to crashes, but a preamble is to have the regular tests running without overflows first.
