OK, the fact it's working with a fresh account means that the permissions
on /Library
are correct.
I don't really know what could be causing the problem with the original
account, if
you mail me the full console.log output, I'll see if I can see anything
suspicious.
The behavior you're seeing in Gears is expected - the InputManager loads a
bunch of
resourced when Safari starts up including the dialog boxes. The errors
you're seeing
are because Gears is attempting to display the permissions dialog and since
the
InputManager hasn't run it can't.
I'm closing this issue since this looks like a configuration issue with the
specific
account that's causing InputManagers not to load.
