I've tried to use gears for offline gmail and it just won't work.
Here's what i've done:
1) I click on the 'offline' link in the small tool bar.
2) A popup shows and i click on 'next'
3) Then i get another popup (asking if i want links etc.) and immediately,
beneath
this popup a dialog-div shows up saying:
"Install offline access for Gmail"
"Failed to load required resources"
"Failed to enable local store"
Subsequent enabling of offline mail yields no result. the syncing lasts
forever and
never progresses.
I'ts worthless this way...
Here's what i've got:
OS: Windows XP pro (all the latest patches)
APP: Firefox v3.5.2
ADDON: better Gmail 2 (v0.9.3)
ADDON: Blank Canvas Gmail Signatures v1.11.12
