Well, I got it working, but it's for Chrome or Chromium users only. All I
had to do
was change channels to beta from dev channel and it worked. Of course, now
I can't
use my bookmark sync, but that's why I have chrome and chromium installed.
I assume
gmail would also work fine on chrome release channel.
Hope it helps anyone still stuck on this issue
