>Lyle, what do you do about predators?
I have some odd ball things out there that so far are working. I had one
incident since living here. I have vials of coyote pee hanging on various
trees that actually seems to keep things away. I Dole out bits of human
hair here and there too. Plastic snakes and owls help also. I am now
installing a motion detector light in the back.

Yah, racoons.....that was my one incident. After the urine though they stay
away from the cages.

yow, that would be quite a list. There are three rows of cages, about a
dozen cages a row? Ranging from Egernia, Abronia , Chameleons and of course
the geckos. I keep all the Uroplatus outside and Rhacodactylus. Mid
april-may things go out and they came in this year in early october. In
previous years things have been out till december. My USDA zone here is 6,
last house 7.
