I haven't noticed the effect on cats. I had a huge stray dragg off a turkey
this week. My freezer is full and I had an extra one of thos eseasonal free
birds. I put it in a box on the porch. Cat dragged it away frozen....
The jays and crows abound here, but dont go near the cages at all. Some of
the lizards are clearly visable. Maybe in my area they do not equate them
as a prey item. I have had good luck with the plastic owls and snakes in
trees. You have to move them though.
