I found a great way to make entry holes. A spade bit, about 1 1/4 inch or
so works great. You dont need adrill. I hold it by hand and gently twist
it to score the container until it gives. Its very easy.

agreed.....nothing worse than a chewed on gecko. The damage can be severe.
