Are you sure about those weights?  A real muscle gecko weighs about 100g,
(~3.5 oz) and females might weigh half that, or less.

I've been using the little plastic saucers sold for putting under 3" flower
pots.  They seem to be too tall for the mealworms to climb out of, but low
enough for even small geckos to see into.  They are easy to clean, too.
