color up or feel very good. You may not have seen his best color yet! It may

good to separate them if he is not eating well on a regular basis. This way

they should be fed no more than 4x weekly, about 10 crickets or more or less,
depending on their appetite (see my earlier post about feeding schedule for
leopards). The WORST thing you can do is have food running around. This
stresses
out the geckos and certainly depresses their feeding response (more details

 the best case scenario.>>

Julie,
I measured the two geckos using Steve's method of nose to vent: The
female is about 4 1/2" and weighs 1 pound 2 oz. The male is about 4 1/4"
and weighs 1 pound 1 oz.

How do you tell how old they are?

When feeding mealworms, what type of lid should I use so they don't
crawl out -- the alumimum lids are about 1/4" high and I have some plastic
lids that are 1/2" high. We tried one of the water dishes that we bought,
but they were crawling out, so right now, we are using a old hamster bowl,
but I think it is too high for the gecko to see what is inside the bowl.

Appreciate everyone's help.

Becky
