Try looking near anything that eminates heat, e.g. behind the fridge,
near the vcr (that carries a phantom load), on the wall that has hot air
vents right behind it. I had one escaped sub adult female P. m. kochi
cause me to take apart the back of an oven to coax her out!

The suggestion of a creating a hot spot on the wall is an excellent
idea.
