He said that the cysts could be related to the parasites being there. He is
almost certain that the parasites were present when the lady who owned them
prior to me purchased them. It has just taken this long for them to take
their toll on the animal. He thinks the one gecko looks very good and will
have no problems in the future, but he seemed to be quite concerned about the
other one as I was also. I am keeping a positive attitude though, and I have
to believe that she will come through this OK. He said that it is possible
that the body will somewhat absorb the cysts and she will be able to live
with them, but he did not want to really commit to saying that she will be
healthy again. I understand that though. I just thought maybe someone else
on here might have experienced the same situation or something similar.
Please say a prayer for her. I'm just crazy about these girls.

I think the ovarian cysts can be directy related to human ovarian cysts
(please correct me if I'm wrong. This is an issue that a lot of women have
to deal with. The first thing is to figure out why the cysts are there.
Who knows, it might be related to the animal's inadequate nutrition. The
main thing is that they're not cancerous, which I personally believe is
extremely doubtful. Perhaps as the gecko's condition improves the cysts
will recede. I don't personally believe that the cysts necessarily
interfere with reproduction, but again, I may be totally out in left field.
I should have said this first - for a qualified answer you should ask your
vet. >>
