Some authors have treated them as a separate family. Grismer in 1988,
combined the Aleurosclabotinae with Eublepharinae to from a 'new' family
Eublepharidae. There is never universal agreement in higher taxonomic
relations.
So, depending upon whom you listen to, and at what time.

Eublepharinae is a seperate familiy? I thought it was one of the few
sub-families under Gekkonidae. Please correct me if I am mistaken.
