Hello Doug,
It sounds like yours are doing great. I just wanted to point out to others
that may have purchased Phelsuma ornata, guimbeaui, cepediana from "Strictly
Reptiles" that these are mainly Postma geckos from Holland and have been
kept and fed quite differently than most of us especially in the U.S.A. keep
and feed ours. The Postma geckos are feed on a liquid nectar diet that also
includes live fruit flies but no crickets. They are also kept in very large
groups that increase the possibility of parasite buildup even in the captive
bred geckos. I do not know what kind of quarantine procedures are used for
new animals that are added to these groups but would treat all as if they
were
wild caught. I would highly recommend a fecal by done by a qualified vet and
always quarantine any new additions for at least a month before adding to an
established collection.
