The problem is mainly not the breeders. Lots of us (me included) have some
of this animales in there collection,there is no doubt about that.Some of
these
species(most recently P.V-nigra subsp.) are collected in huge numbers in the
wild.That some of them reach responsible breeders in my opinion is good.

Please place me first in line to agree with what you have written here! I
have no problem with any of it! What I am botherered about has nothing to do
with the legality or illegality issue so much as the arrogant way we are
being told not to buy something and being treated like a red headed stepchild
when others apparently have a godgiven right to obtain the same animals by
whatever means and justify it because after all they are the experienced
ones! This elitist self serving attitude pushes on raw nerves to be sure!
In an ideal world only qualified folks would be able to have these animals.
This is not that place!
