Hi Lyle,
sorry to hear from your bad exp with masobe.Really wished they would have done
better for you.
I think Jamie is right and this is a gexspec for champeople and specialists for
arboreal rainforestspecs (and this maybe is not the strongest current at your
side of the Atlantic ocean .-))...).
I keep one pair now since october 2000 and they do quite well (fingers crossed)
in an setup similar to those I use for Uphs or Usiks.
Temperatures have been quite low last month(about 22 °C day/15-16°C night) but
after some discussions with others have been lifted to 24-25/17-18°C now.The
enclosure is sprayed twice a day but hase relative good ventilation,so dries up
during the day.
The animals stay over the day in hollow cork tube often both in the same one.at
night they are roaming the enclosure but often only sit and wait on the thich
branches and corktubes looking towards the ground for food. The animals have
been treated with Panacur one
time.Main food are crickets and occasional roaches, also the like waxworms. The
prefer slow food,so maybe the hind legs of crickets should be broken so they do
not jump.Food is regulary dusted with minerals.Hope they will do well for longer
time and finally lay eggs.
Its indeed not a real Pareodura more like Uros or even Aeroscalabotes.
Just my 0.02 Euro,FWIW,aso
really nothing for Leopard - and Aussiegexfanatics like ................
