I've been following this thread with a mild interest until I read that
Lyle's animals, which expired so quickly, were more prone to be on the
ground than in a vertical position. Is this really so unusual? Not for an
animal on death row! Nothing definitive about ideal environmental
conditions can be seined from lifeless, listless, and otherwise near death
creatures. Unfortunately, Lyle's experience has done nothing but add
confusion to the already confusing equation of how to keep them. I only
hope to help people keep focus on the proper conditions of masobe
husbandry, and not venture off from what is sensible. Most arboreal
creatures that are stressed and near death will typically spend their
feeble last days resting on the ground, as they lack the strength and
coordination necessary to live in arboreal areas. Ask the cham. keepers
about that.

There are people who have kept these creatures alive for many months under
the same prescribed conditions that Jamie lists. For those who have lost
animals under these conditions - SOMETHING ELSE WAS WRONG - not the
terrarium conditions. Perhaps your animals were already ran into the
ground, or well on their way.
