You guys are reading an awful lot into my posts. Yes I keep and have kept
many chameleons.
I never said they dropped out of the trees to seek cover. The specifically
went to the ground during the day and hid under bark. They chose these
sites over arboreal sites. At night they were active and all over the place.
Guess what? I spoke today with a successful keeper. Guess what he kept his
in? a 5 gallon aquarium!!! With bark and peat......nothing else.
I kept mine in chameleon cages, vertical glass, large cages, small cages. A
regular killing field ;-)
