ok. Here's a thought. Had I just paid $30 to join this list and received and
arrogant loud rude post like this I would have been upset. Having not paid
$30 to join this list because I wanted to see what it was about first, thank
you for saving me my money. You're pretty stuck on yourself if you think
that anything that comes out of your mouth with this kind of attitude and
tone is worth anything. I've been in herps over 25 years and never in my
life have I felt that my knowledge was something to be kept for myself or to
be sold to others. Are you that hard up that someone not paying in $30
deserves to flamed and slammed on a public forum even if they aren't being
identified as an individual? I've only been a member for about 2 weeks and
in that time, I haven't seen one single post that would be worth paying
anything for. You Sir, are a real piece of work. If your knowledge is all
that you think it is, write a book and charge for it instead of crying to a
mailing list.

This is a great way to get people to join the GGA and really feel welcome.
Thanks for the opportunity to allow me to check this list out but frankly,
this is a real turn off to any new people and I don't want to be associated
with this type of arrogance or attitude. I've been in herps far too long to
be spoken down to like this, even if I wasn't singled out per say. I'll be
sure and not recommend the GGA to anyone because I wouldn't want to be
associated with posts like this to anyone I recommend to join. And what's
more, because this person doesn't have a position with GGA, it's not his
place nor his concern if I pay or not or in what kind of time frame any said
membership fees are paid. Tell me one thing that I could learn here for my
$30 that I couldn't learn elsewhere? What advantage is it to me to pay $30
for a membership here and listen to this kind of rubble? Sorry for taking up
everyone's bandwidth and time with this reply, but this is just ridiculous.
