Hi Nicole,
This shipping back and forth of reptiles for shows should not be a problem.
Sometimes your options are limited by weather - Delta will put on heat
restrictions, or just plain unavailability of shippers. They just want to see at
the airport that you have what you say you have in there. I would call Delta and
set up an account. You have to call Delta ahead of time now to ship live
animals.
Other shippers will not ask you to open the box, so it is not a worry.
