Hi Jason and all,
<<

I was wondering if anyone has any info on the average lifespan of wild
phelsuma? >>

I have kept Phelsuma grandis for close to twenty years and they are still
going. Smaller species seem to last around six to seven years and your
observations have been the same here also. I agree that productivity seems to
wane after four years of age in many species. If we could keep them under
real sunlight this might prove an artifact of captivity but I am not sure?
