Robert,

Well, of course reptiles that can be given the exactly right amount of
medicine should be given the exactly right amount of medicine.
Also I do agree with Lyle, that the lizards should be tested to diagnos them
for what kind of parasites they carry, before any treatment is decided. But
for worming with fenbendazole (the active ingredience i Panacure, Axilur,
etc.) I would allow an exeption, under the circumstances that the animal is
too small to be given an acurate dose. The reason is that fenbendazole
(Panacure) is such a mild medicine that it gives virtually no side effects,
even with huge overdosing. The acurate dose of fenbendazole (Panacure) for
reptiles is 25-50 mg/kg body wieght. This should be given orally once a week
for four weeks.
For your tiny P. androyensis i recommend that you just cruch 1-2 tablets of
Panacure and shake one small cricket in the "Panacure dust", and feed it to
the animal. Repeat this process once a week for four weeks. I have used this
method earlier on juvenile, and subadult geckos (genus Tarentola and
Makariogekko), and skinks (genus Chalcides). Virtually none of the animals
showed any symptoms of side effects. So I would think that it is safe to
use. I would like to add that I'm not a vet, nor an importer, but i have
some personal friends that are vets, and I've developed this simple method
together with them.
And Robert, if you are an importer, I strongly suggest that you get yourself
a gram scale.... Tomorrow ;-)

Hope this helps.
