I have two Leopard Geckos, coming up for 2 years old, they have successfully
bred, both this season and last. They are otherwise very healthy, except for
just lately they seem to be having trouble shedding around the toes. I am
not doing anything different from my usual set up, and I make sure that the
wet box is sprayed daily, warm and filled with fresh sphagnum moss every
couple of weeks.
In many of the care sheets it says that they spend a lot of time in the wet
box, but my two have never seemed to use it as much as I am led to believe
they should. Firstly. any ideas about aiding the shedding around the toes,
would be welcome. Secondly, do your geckos spend lots of time in the wet
box?
btw. As recomended by one care sheet, I have tried putting them in a very
shallow water dish with some warm (30c) water in it, for 15 mins at a time,
but it does not shift the old skin.
