Hi Simon,

To Aid Shedding: I would leave them in for longer than 15 minutes. I
have a Paroedura picta (I assume the species name change has gone
through?) that gets a soaking every few months and I leave it in there
for a few hours, unitl eventually it starts to pull the now moist and
loosened skin off of its toes. If they don't pull off the skin after
several hours, try it VERY carefully and gently with a pair of fine
tweezers. By the way, I only use room temperature filtered water.

What My Geckos Do: Within my colony of P. picta, it runs the range from
individuals spending most of the day in the wet box to some who only go
in there every couple of days. Mind you I don't watch them all day long,
only when I have time. I have them (adults and advanced juveniles) set
up with a wet box and pieces of bark they can hide under scattered in
the tanks.
