Hi,
I've observed this species in southern Spain a few years ago. The animals
lived on brick walls and among houses. The climate is mediterranean, eg.
"semi-desert" so calci-sand sounds fine to me. The eggs hatch out after
about 60 days or so in 28C (82.4F) says a friend of mine that has kept this
species.
Otherwise your setup sounds OK to me. Just keep them warm; about 33C (91.4F)
in one end of the enclosure, and 26C (78.8F) in the other. A cooling period
in the winter may be necessary, in order to induce breeding activity.
Regards,
Assar Manuswin
