Hi!

Well, I did try two different thermometers. The temp. is actually correct.
Now, remember the SURFACE temp. was in the low 90's with a 25W bulb, NOT the
ambient air temp. under the lamp. In order to raise the ambient air temp. to
88F I need about a 60W bulb. My initial question was, which is the important
temp; surface or air?

I haven't noticed any unusual behavior with the temp. the way I used to have
it. Right now I have cooled the cage down during the day (88F on the
surface). I have 3 hideboxes, one in the cool end, one in the middle (this
is the moist one) and one in the warm end.

I use paper for substrate.

Thanks for your help Jason! :)
