I would like spme information about this issue, too. I have a Crested Gecko, one of whose eyes hase been "swollen" for about six months; it is about the size of a small pea. A vet told me to increase the humidity in her cage, which I have done, but the condition persists. Incidently, the eye is not cloudy.

On rare occasions in the past when one of my snakes retained an eye cap, I was able to see some skin surrounding it. By using forceps with a spatula tip (the kind stamp collectors use), I was usually able to remove the cap.
